This dry cider is unpasteurized and unfiltered. The difference this makes in the overall flavour profile is incredible. It is a true delight.
Produced from Georgian Bay apples, including Golden Russet, Roxbury Russet, Tolman Sweet, Snow and Wealthy, this cider shows all of the characteristics you would expect from a blend of heritage fruit.
I am tasting fresh grapefruit and lemon with subtle hints of summer melon. There is a light effervescence and a crisp, clean, tangy finish. The aroma is as fresh as the flavour with apple, melon and spice.
This straw coloured cider is available in distinctive and elegant 500 and 750 ml bottles. A lot of attention was paid to the details, from a high quality stainless steel crown cap, to an attractive, artistic, upscale label. It has an alcohol content of 7%.
This cider would make an excellent gift that does not require wrapping. I highly recommend you visit the Beaver Valley Cidery and pick up several bottles.
If you like high quality dry sparkling wine, you will love this cider.
I really like this style as it is versatile with many types of foods. Pair with strong flavoured cheeses, dried fruits, nuts, breads, crackers and just about any full meal.
Unfiltered cider can be cloudy after transport, so allow bottles to stand upright to allow the cider to clear.
