The Beaver Valley Orchard & Cidery is located in the heart of the Beaver Valley on the Mott / Cornwell family farm. The cidery and visitor centre are housed in a converted heritage barn that dates back to the 1870’s. This facility is a spectacular example of repurposing.
The barn was meticulously restored and converted into a modern day cidery. It is a blend of all of the charm and characteristics of the heritage barn with a sophisticated modern cider making operation.
Inside and out you will find a number of antique relics of cider making past. The attention to detail is very impressive. The tasting area is warm and inviting with a number of comfortable chairs and tables, a wood burning stove and large windows looking out onto the garden. They have outdoor seating and the visitor centre is accessible.
This is truly a family operation. John, the cider maker, is on hand to answer all of your questions. And his wife Judy is ready to assist you with tasting and to tell you about restoration of the barn.
As I understand it, shipping is not available at this time, so plan to take home a case or two when you visit.
I recommend you stop and see this cidery. You will be very glad you did.
