Cowichan Cider brandy is made from six different blends of French and English cider apples grown in the Cowichan Valley. These blends are fermented into cider and distilled three times in a copper still. The brandy is then aged in French Oak Barrels of two different sizes, 100 litre and 225 litre. The end result is blended together to create the perfect balance of flavour, colour and aroma.
Aromas of smokey apple fill your glass to tease your senses. Rich, intense flavours of apples, vanilla and spice fill your mouth with every sip. The warmth and tingle of this 35% alcohol brandy radiates through the finish with wisps of smokey satisfaction.
This is truly a unique craft creation! It is packaged in an attractive 375 ml bottle, complete with wooden topped stopper.
I highly recommend you try this amazing treat. It is fantastically Canadian.
When tasting brandy, it is best served in a ‘snifter’ at room temperature. Swirl it in the glass, enjoy the aroma and the pleasure of sipping it slowly.
