This all natural cider beverage is a blend of Merridale hard apple cider and the unfermented juices of B.C. berries and fruits including raspberries and black currants.
It has a light raspberry colour with a bubblegum aroma. It tastes a lot like a lightly carbonated fruit drink and has 6% alcohol. There is really no structure to speak of.
In all fairness, Merridale suggests you use this one for spritzers. And if that is what you are planning, it is a one stop shop, just add ice.
Although this style is not for me, it has its place in a quality line of hand-made products. It is certainly a plus that they use 100% undiluted juices form B.C.
It is packaged in a 1 litre resealable bottle.
