Tillicum Hopped Cider has a medium straw colour and is somewhat cloudy due to the dry hopping process. This is a natural appearance for a freshly hopped cider and tells you that is truly fresh. Over time the cloudiness will settle.
When first opened, the aromas of freshly dried hops and crisp apples waft out of the bottle. Pouring it slowly into a flute, shows subtle effervescence with tiny bubbles floating to the top of the glass.
On first sip you will taste the natural smokiness of dry hops, with a solid apple structure supporting a full yet crisp flavour and well rounded mouth feel. There is a long and satisfying finish that leaves the essence of dry hops on your tongue.
This dry cider has an alcohol content of 9% and is packaged in a clear 750 ml bottle with resealable cap. Infused with hops grown at the Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse, this cider is as unique as it is delicious.
I am very impressed with the balance of aromas and flavours. This cider is a must try.
Great for casual social occasions with finger foods and light fare. The delicate flavours of the dried hops are food unto themselves.
The label of this cider is a departure from the printed bottle labels found on other Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse products. Although an attractive green colour, it looks less elegant.
